<p>Don’t think if you are not asked for your opinion that no one is interested.  Contribute your ideas to show management you are thinking of new ways to help the business.</p>
<p><span style="color: #800080;"><strong>Don’t assume no one is interested in what you have to say.  They may just be busy and are relying on you to tell them your thoughts.</strong></span></p>
<p>If you are interested in a project you heard about, set up a meeting with your boss and let him/her know that you would like to be a part of the project and why you feel you would be an asset.</p>

<p>Don’t use beliefs from the past in your present life.  Test your assumptions by asking others what their thoughts are.</p>
<p><span style="color: #333399;"><strong>If you walk into a room and someone looks angry, don’t assume they are angry at you.  Something may have happened to them earlier that caused them to be upset, therefore looking angry.  <a href="http://www.personalitypathways.com/type_inventory.html" target="_blank">Personality types</a> are all different and people react to events in many different ways.</strong></span></p>

<p><span style="color: #333399;"><strong>That person may be upset because of something personal that happened, or because a project they are working on is not turning out the way they planned.</strong></span></p>
<p>If it turns out the person is upset with you, you will be able to make amends because you know the facts.</p>
<p><span style="color: #333399;"><strong>Don’t base your reaction on things that have happened to you in the past.  You may be taking out your past hurt on someone new for no reason and therefore damaging your relationship with that person.<br />
